About

My goal is to help you achieve optimum health and wellness. Through working with my patients I have seen the impressive results that acupuncture and Chinese medicine can have. I am grateful to be able to share the benefit of my extensive education with you. My background includes training not only in acupuncture, but in a wide array of Chinese medicine modalities. I graduated in the top of my class at Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly PCOM). I am licensed by the state and recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Your unique health care situation is of the utmost importance to me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can benefit you. Together we can work toward achieving your health and wellness goals.

About - Forest Hills Acupuncture & Wellness in Forest Hills, NY

Acupuncture is an effective treatment for relief from low back pain, even when compared with other interventions (sham acupuncture, usual care, or no treatment), with stronger effects observed immediately after treatment. Clinically significant reduction in pain is more reliably observed in chronic rather than acute low back pain (strength of recommendation: A, based on systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials [RCTs]).

“The updated standards, effective January 1, 2018, will require Joint Commission accredited hospitals provide nonpharmacological pain modalities, including acupuncture as one option, by licensed independent practitioners.”

“In their ongoing response to the opioid crisis and continued calls to make effective therapies available to patients, The Joint Commission’s revision mandate will now require accredited hospitals to provide nonpharmacological approaches to pain, hire licensed independent practitioners, and ‘…provide educational resources and programs to improve pain assessment, pain management and the safe use of opioid medications based on identified needs of its patient population’.
